Choose the kinds of work you take

Mitzvahs, quinceañeras, Sweet 16s, communions, proms, vow renewals and more — each runs the right steps in its own words.

Each kind of work you add shows on your inquiry form, and decides the steps, the timings, the forms and the words a client reads. A bar mitzvah family reads "Sam's bar mitzvah", in its own words.

Steps

  1. Open Studio settings, then Job types.
  2. Choose Add a kind of work, give it your own Name and pick its Kind — Bar & bat mitzvah, Quinceañera, Sweet 16, Communion, confirmation & baptism, Prom, Vow renewal & anniversary, Family & portraits, Corporate & events, Sports or Other event.
  3. Choose what the inquiry asks for it: the Date and City, the Venue, the Guest count and the venue insurance question.
  4. Choose Save your job types. The kind's recommended forms are copied into Questionnaires the first time you offer it.

What happens next

Under Questionnaires, pick the form each kind's new inquiries fill in. What each kind does, below your list, shows the steps and timings each one follows.

Good to know

  • A mitzvah, a quinceañera, a Sweet 16, a communion and a prom are booked by the family for someone else: the inquiry asks who you're celebrating, and the job is named for them.
  • A communion and a prom are paid in full with no agreement, like a family session. A package can change how any job is paid.
  • Name two of your own the same kind — "Vow renewal" and "Anniversary party" — and each reads in its own words.
